Administrative Support Supervisor

CES is seeking an administrative professional to provide a full range of support to the CES Administration and Operations Teams.  We are looking for a person who has excellent interpersonal and project management skills as well as experience in supervision and task delegation.

This is a newly created role which means there is room for a person to grow and change with it.  This position will be responsible for improving agency-wide work flows and building administrative capacity.  Ideal candidates will be self-directed, have strong problem-solving skills and be accustomed to working with google applications.

ELA/History Teacher

Immediate opening for an innovative and creative classroom teacher to provide direct educational instruction to youth assigned to the Department of Youth Services in the Northeast part of the state (Lowell).  We are looking for a passionate and collaborative high school level ELA and/or History teacher who is committed to working with youth who have been placed at risk.  The right candidate will value professionalism, positive youth development and culturally responsive teaching.

    We are a supportive team who offer teachers growth through coaching and continued professional development.   Classes are small and personalized with a focus on academic and behavioral success.    This is a union contract position; salary is based on union scale which includes paid sick and personal time.  Successful candidates may be eligible for the teacher loan forgiveness program for up to $17,500. Teachers in DYS schools are part of the Massachusetts Teachers' Retirement System.
